Limitless Alliance and Limitless Tickets required a comprehensive dashboard to manage their expanding membership base. The core necessity was integrating Stripe for secure subscription handling alongside a Discord integration to automate role assignments.

1. Stripe Subscription Management

The system needed a robust way for users to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their memberships securely. Using the Stripe API, we built a seamless checkout and portal experience that manages recurring billing directly within the platform.

2. Discord Automation

Community engagement is handled through Discord, so it was critical that a user's subscription status immediately reflected their Discord roles. We implemented a system that synchronizes Stripe webhooks with the Discord API.

• Upon successful payment, users are automatically granted the "Premium Member" role.
• If a subscription is canceled or a payment fails, the role is revoked.

Architecture

We developed the dashboard using Next.js. Authentication is secured using modern OAuth flows, ensuring users link both their Discord and Stripe identities safely.

Why this architecture?

• Speed: Next.js provides instant, reactive UI components.
• Reliability: Webhooks from Stripe and Discord are processed through a durable background worker queue to ensure no roles or payments are missed during high traffic or brief API outages.
• Security: All sensitive data is managed on the server, leveraging strict environment variables and encrypted sessions.

Outcome

The resulting dashboard completely automated membership tiering for Limitless. The administration team no longer has to manually check Stripe payments and update Discord roles, saving them significant operational overhead and reducing human error to zero.
