Kirchheim Freizeit Website
Website Rebuild for the Kirchheim Freizeit Platform.

This project was for a sports club that organizes trips to Kirchheim. Members use the platform to book their trip, and admins use it to manage registrations and trip-related data. The old system had a poor user experience and slow performance. We rebuilt the platform to make booking smoother, admin work clearer, and the overall system faster.
The Challenge
The previous platform made simple tasks harder than they should be. If booking feels slow or confusing, users drop off. If admin tools are hard to use, staff spend more time fixing issues instead of organizing a better trip experience.
What We Built
A Better Booking Experience for Members
We redesigned the user-facing booking flow so members can complete trip registration with less confusion and fewer steps. The interface is cleaner, faster to load, and easier to navigate on all devices.
A Practical Admin Area for Trip Management
We rebuilt the admin side so club staff can manage bookings, review participant data, and handle changes in one place.
Frontend and Backend Built
The frontend is built with Next.js and TypeScript, and the backend API is built with Hono. In simple terms, the frontend handles what users and admins see, while the backend handles booking and management logic. Keeping these parts aligned improved reliability and reduced integration errors during releases.
Cloudflare-Based Deployment for Performance and Scale
We deploy on Cloudflare and use Cloudflare for most core services. This was chosen because it gives reliable global delivery and easy scaling as usage grows. For the club, that means the platform is better prepared for peak booking periods without woring about server management.
Results
The rebuilt platform provides a faster and more usable experience for both members and admins. Booking flow quality improved, and admin operations are now easier to manage in daily use.
Outcome
The sports club now has a modern trip platform that better supports both member bookings and admin management. The redesign solved key pain points from the old system, especially around speed and usability.
